The project was for the provision of all the infrastructure and landscaping works to the Olympic precinct. This was done in three separate stages with different contractors for each stage.
Infrastructure works for the Olympic Site included approximately 20 kilometers of roadworks and associated services, on grade parking, landscaping and temporary structures to allow people movement around the site during the Sydney Olympic Games. The project cost approximately $600 million Australian dollars and was completed over a two year period.
Davis Langdon Australia provided cost planning, project review services and post contract services to GHD Pty Ltd, who were the project managers on this project for the Olympic Co-ordination Authority.
