In this exciting new role for Davis Langdon, Mark will be responsible for developing and managing the firm’s business in the sub-sector for our asset management offering in the South East and thereafter nationally. Mark will work alongside Paul Houghton, the Director responsible for New Build Developments in the South East to develop opportunities. Delivery of this shall be in support of the growth strategy and operational plan for the overall sub-sector, meeting all quality and commercial goals.
Mark will ensure that all current and potential clients in the sub-sector area experience the expected quality, values, practices and service of Davis Langdon whilst helping to build overall sector capability throughout the area, working with practice and geography heads, ensuring the sector has the right number and calibre of resources to support service delivery.
Sub-sector head Paul Donlan said “I regard Mark’s appointment as another step to assist us in providing solutions to clients in the sector, particularly in the current challenging environment. Mark is based in London although his role will increasingly see him moving around the region.”
Mark has almost 25 years of experience within the Social Housing Sector. He was the owner and Chief Executive of A.E.Williams & Son (Builders) Ltd, a business specialising in responsive repair and maintenance contracts for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Tenant Managed organisations across London and the South East, from 1986 to 2007. The business was acquired by Connaught PLC in April 2007 and Mark worked with Connaught until summer 2010 where he fulfilled operational, client relationship and sales director positions across the business. Mark now brings his experience and sector knowledge to a role which will see him combine client relationship responsibility with business and proposition development.
