UC Berkeley’s historic Memorial Stadium is located on a major earthquake fault. The goal of this challenging project was to provide critical seismic and functional upgrades to the existing facility without compromising the historical architecture and appearance, and without expanding the current footprint.

The first phase of the project comprises the addition of a new Student High Performance Center to the site, to include lockers, weight facilities, dining facilities, and offices for student athletes and their coaches. This new facility is designed to complement the existing architecture of the stadium. Later phases include renovations and seismic upgrades to the stadium itself, including expansion of the existing restroom, storage and concession facilities. Davis Langdon is providing cost management services for this project.
